The Vision Behind Out of Ashes’ Impact

Out of Ashes was born from my own journey as a carer — a journey that taught me the true meaning of resilience.

Through that experience, I learned how to create beauty from difficult moments and to find purpose even in pain.

I founded Out of Ashes to give others that same opportunity: to rise, rebuild, and rediscover their inner strength.

More than just a program, Out of Ashes is a community of healing and creativity, where people come together to reconnect with themselves, build confidence, and find hope again.

This story reveals how Brenda’s experience as a carer inspired a community focused on healing, empowerment, and support.

Building Hope Through Compassionate Care

Many people didn’t know I was an unpaid carer until they saw me on stage with my son, Vwede at the Electric Umbrella BGT Golden Buzzer 2025 performance.

After that moment, I found carers naturally gravitating towards me — curious about how I manage to wear so many hats: wife, mother, business entrepreneur, community leader, minister of God, carer trainer, and more.

Out of Ashes was born from my willingness to share my own journey — a journey marked by pain, perseverance, and faith.

Through it, I found purpose in inspiring others, offering hope and comfort to those walking a similar path.

My story is a reminder that even in the darkest seasons, beauty, strength, and purpose can rise from the ashes.
